Every breakthrough needs to break through.
To make a real impact, innovations need to be understood. Science needs to inspire. Bunsen exists to help visionary companies nail their story and get the attention (and funding) they need to reach the next stage.
We do what other agencies can’t do: speak like scientists, think like VCs, design like artists, and write like storytellers.
Our cross-disciplinary team has helped hundreds of founders launch and grow their companies. Now, we've got strategy and storytelling down to a science.

Ben Kellogg
Ben is a veteran scientific storyteller and strategist who has helped the leading thinkers of our time nail their narrative. He spent over a decade with the TED Conference, training scientists to distill their story and deliver it with gusto. After founding a PR firm, he worked with 50+ biotech clients, including bit.bio, Strand Tx, Nucleate, and SynBioBeta. Currently, he advises Congress on biotech strategy, working with the National Security Commission on Emerging Biotechnology. Ben co-founded Bunsen to fill the unmet need for a creative agency that can translate bio to the masses, and present it with vivid story and design. He lives in New York.

Michael Polansky
Michael is an investor and serial entrepreneur, having founded and led multiple prominent organizations in life sciences and tech, including Hawktail VC, ArsenalBio, Outer Bio and the Parker Institute for Cancer Immunotherapies. He previously led consumer internet investments at Founders Fund. He knows firsthand it’s crucial for cutting-edge companies to explain their technology to non-scientists and investors. But he never found an agency that could do it effectively. So he co-founded Bunsen to be the world’s leading creative agency for frontier science companies – the one shop that truly understands what they do, and how to get people excited about it.
